Jot and Tittle Expo, citizen M Glasgow
citizenM is proud to debut an exhibition by Graphic Designers Kerr Vernon and Ed Watt of Cause + Effect, two of Glasgow’s leading creatives, who are also responsible for the renewed visual identity of GI 2018. A key component of the festival is to extend the arts experience across the city and its communities by showing work in non-traditional spaces, as well as museums and galleries. The exhibition at citizenM Glasgow hotel will use the Lacuna font as its starting point, which was designed by Glasgow School of Art Graduate, Imogen Ayres. More broadly, it will explore the creative development of a brand through the lens of imaginative and effective graphic design. The exhibition will be interactive and use mixed-media, from printed materials to digital projections. Unique screen-printed works will be displayed, and available to buy in editions of 50 each with profit from sales going to support a local charity..
