It’s A Wonderful Life GFT
Friday 13 – Tuesday 24 December, 2019
It’s finally here! It’s A Wonderful Life at GFT has become a Christmas institution, and we can’t wait for it to return to our screens this Friday. Frank Capra’s 1946 classic still has resonance today, earning such a special place in all of our hearts that we’ve even had people proposing in the cinema during our Christmas screenings!
Small town everyman George Bailey (played unforgettably by James Stewart) contemplates suicide one snowy, bleak Christmas Eve, until his guardian angel shows him what the lives of the people he loves would be like without him. George realises the difference he has made, learning lessons of love, loyalty and what it means to lead a wonderful life.
Tickets are selling fast, so whether you’re coming for the hundredth time or creating a new Christmas tradition, advance booking is highly recommended.
