To mark the six-month countdown to HGFF19 we are hosting an encore screening of Arturo Santana’s 2015 film, Bailando Con Margot.

It’s Havana late 50s, Revolution is brewing, Bailando Con Margot follows the story of wealthy widow and femme fatale Margot de Zárate. Caught up in the investigation over the theft of a priceless painting, Margot must prove her innocence to an old style detective.

Bailando Con Margot is the latest film of celebrated actor Mirtha Ibarra who, HGFF can reveal, will be our star guest at this year’s festival in November where we will feature another four of her films.
