Govanhill International Festival 2021 – Carnival and Parade
Saturday 7 August, 2021
Carnival Parade
Saturday 07 August, 1:00 to 2:00pm
Meet: Govanhill Park (Venue 3)
After a year off, the famous Govanhill Carnival Parade is back for the fourth time – bigger, noisier and more beautiful than ever!
A colourful, anti-racist celebration of pride, unity and the contributions immigrants have made to our community in Govanhill. Drummers, pipers, brass bands, jugglers, roller skaters, lion dancers and all the brilliant community groups that make our neighbourhood great will weave through the streets of Govanhill, ending up in the Queens Park Arena where the Carnival will begin. Pull on your most colourful glad rags and come join us for some dancing in the street!
