Glasgow Madrigirls – Music and Readings for Advent
A Star is Dancing
Sunday 4 December, 2022 at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.
University Memorial Chapel, University of Glasgow, Glasgow G12 8QQ
Glasgow Madrigirls’ much-loved annual concert of music and readings for Advent, featuring a cappella sacred and folk music from around the world.
This year’s concert looks at the familiar Advent stories from sometimes unexpected angles – from music that reimagines the 11th century plainsong of Hildegarde of Bingen, to the story of the annunciation told from the point of view of a spider on the wall…
The concert will be performed twice, at 6pm and at 8pm.
Tickets at Eventbrite
Tickets £5.98. Proceeds to Shelter.
