There are great tales and spine-tingling vocals from the likes of Merry Clayton, and The Blossoms’ Darlene Love. Archive footage of Bowie, Michael Jackson and Tom Jones is interwoven with fresh interviews with Springsteen, Mick Jagger and Stevie Wonder, as they trace the relationship between star and back-up singer in the creation of some unforgettable music.
