French Film Festival UK November – December 2020
French Film Festival UK reveals early programme plans
The organisers of the French Film Festival are delighted to announce the current programme for this year’s 28th edition with plans to run the Festival across November and December 2020.
The programme, which is still a work in progress, will feature films which include classics like Costa-Gavras’ nailbiting thriller The Sleeping Car Murders, running alongside titles such as Papicha and culture-clash comedy Arab Blues. Other familiar names include Robert Guédiguian, whose Gloria Mundi is a heartfelt family drama. Parts of the Festival may be presented online depending on the latest situation with partner venues.
Festival director Richard Mowe said: “We felt it important that the 28th edition of the French Film Festival UK should continue to keep faith with our colleagues in cinemas and our loyal and enthusiastic audiences stretching from Shetland to Plymouth. The festival will follow the guidelines for distancing and self-protection.”
