Dunoon’s third film festival aims to have fun looking at relationships between generations, confounding expectations and living life to the full whatever your age.
Screenings will take place at the Studio Cinema and look out for a variety of surprise cinema spaces around the town, whilst Dunoon Burgh Hall is undergoing major renovation.
Dunoon Film Festival is proud to work in partnership with www.cowalcinemaclub.com Cowal Cinema Club to bring movie magic to the Cowal Peninsula.

Programme
The programme includes a fantastic selection of films including:
Iris, Theeb, Harold and Maude
Up, The Closer We Get, Big Gold Dream
Angels With Dirty Faces and more . . .

A particular highlight is James Cosmo in Conversation
One of Scotland’s most beloved and versatile actors, Cosm career includes iconic roles in films such as Braveheart, Donkeys and recently Game of Thrones. He will be discussing his illustrious 50 year career in film and television plus a question and answer session.

Animation & Sound Workshop
1pm / Sat 19 September / Cowal Camera Club
The workshop will provide fun for people of all ages from ten upwards – playing with archive footage of Dunoon and adding some new twists. You will work with an animator and sound artists to create a unique film. No experience necessary.
You can also watch some short films made by young people from across Argyll at this mini Youth Film Fest – supported by Argyll Youth Arts Hub.
