Daphne (Emily Beecham) is a 30-something Londoner who has reached an impasse in life when she witnesses a violent attack on a local shopkeeper. The incident prompts Daphne to reassess her life choices and the people in it. Local director Peter Mackie Burns brings his debut feature to GYFF, in which the commanding Emily Beecham steers the film as the emotionally troubled Daphne.
