Cosmic Connections! GI 2014
12 April 2014
Our GI artist-in-residency Suzanne Dery is hosting this afternoon workshop for star-children age 8-12 years, inviting them to model an offering to the Sun and another star or planet of their choice. Starting with a map of the constellations, the young artists will locate and select a subject for their personal cosmic connection!
Working with their hands, imaginations and a range of clays, children will model a maquette that can be taken home and work together to produce a final sculpture that will be glazed, fired and included as part of Suzanne’s temporary installation of work in the grounds of House for an Art Lover.
Saturday 12 April 2.00 to 4.00pm
Age 8-12 years (P4-P7)
Free – places are limited and must be booked in advance. Please telephone 0141 353 4770 / 4776 during office hours to reserve your place.
