This course will enable you to spend a morning in the painting studio, building the skills and techniques to create original work in watercolours, oils or acrylics. You will be encouraged to experiment with a variety of materials and genres, developing your own individual style and approach to drawing and painting.

Suitable for a wide range of participants – from beginners to more experienced artists, the course is designed to enable you to develop at your own pace and will be underpinned by tutor demonstrations, plenty of 1:1 guidance and group discussions in a friendly, supportive environment.

The course tutor is Michael Durning, an accomplished professional artist, lecturer and President of Paisley Art Institute. This course takes place in the 2nd floor Art Studio at the House.

Thursday 24 April – 26 June 2014 (10 weeks)

Adults (16+)   

½ Day Fee £110* per term (AM 10.00 -12.00)
