Exhibition celebrating the achievements of Aileen McGlynn and Louise Haston
Riverside Museum
This new display celebrates the achievements of Para-Sport Tandem cyclists Aileen McGlynn and Louise Haston, who won four silver medals at the Glasgow XX Commonwealth Games. Key objects from the Games, including their tandem bike and race suits, reveal the extreme highs and lows of competing on the world stage. The display also features medals, the Queen’s Baton and sporting equipment used during the games. You can even climb up on a podium yourself.
