Barry Paton Photo Gallery: Dance
This series of photos was taken in the late 1980’s in Glasgow and Edinburgh.
Many were taken at Mayfest, an annual arts event with major International dance artists and choreographers featured. It was a very busy and exciting time.
Barry didn’t know much about the dancers or choreographers but his partner, Fiona Alderman, also a dancer introduced him to many acclaimed people from the world of dance, some of whom she had known when she was a dancer in London.
These included:
Lloyd Newson.
