The Glasgow leg of the A Mixter o Makars event series!
As well as Scotland’s National Makar there are also Makars for many of Scotland’s cities too. For the first time, all five City Makars will perform live together and discuss what they do – and could do – to support and promote poetry and the power of words in their communities. The Makars are Hannah Lavery (Edinburgh), Laura T Fyfe (Stirling), Jim Carruth (Glasgow), WM (Bill)Herbert (Dundee) and Niall O’Gallagher (Glasgow-Gaelic).
