Jam Project – Free Music Classes at Music Broth

Ten Week Music Course – 16 -25 year olds

Music Broth is responsible for Scotland’s first musical instrument library in Govanhill. It aims to improve access to musical instruments and equipment to anyone who wants to pursue a musical venture. Part of this mission includes delivering music workshops to the community and promoting local people through music.
In partnership with Glasgow Music Studios Music Broth is running a 10 week music programme for young people aged 16 – 25 from the Roma Community and wider community in Govanhill. Giving young people an opportunity to learn to play an instrument, DJ, rap, sing, write song and more!
Anyone eligible and interested in music learning/activities is invited to come along to the workshops and take part in a fantastic opportunity to get involved in music.

Glasgow Music Studio are a music rehearsal and recording studio in Glasgow. The Jam Project recently won Best Community Initiative at the Glasgow Awards 2017.
