“Stories of Our Lives is an intimate, masterly portrayal of Kenya’s LGBT community”- The Huffington Post
Africa in Motion is delighted to be holding a screening of the critically acclaimed collection of short films Stories of Our Lives (2014) from Kenyan-native director Jim Chuchu in collaboration with the multidisciplinary arts collective NEST. Shot on just one Canon DSLR each film remarkably captures the beauty, complexity and hardship of identifying as LGBTQ+ in Kenya.
