A small story that delicately balances touching tragedy and absurdist comedy. Winner of the Un Certain Regard at Cannes Film Festival 2015, Grímur Hákonarson’s tale of two brothers in a remote Icelandic farming village is Iceland’s entry to the 2016 Oscars. When a lethal disease begins to creep across the land they own and infect their sheep, brothers Gummi and Kiddi must use everything they have to save their land and stock, despite not having spoken to one another for four decades.
