An Tír úd Thoir (2009) by Conradh na Gaeilge Glaschú is an Irish language documentary (with English subtitles) that examines the experiences of the thousands of people who emigrated from Donegal to Glasgow throughout the twentieth century. Featuring interviews with Irish people who have now settled in Glasgow, this film explores both the challenges faced by immigrants and the ways in which they keep Irish culture alive in the city.
After the film, there will an opportunity for discussion when you will be welcome to share your own experiences or those of family members.
