Dawn Forrest, who works in partnership with her husband David, draws on her background in fashion and design to create glorious displays with unusual and imaginative themes. Different sources from such diverse locations as Scotland, Thailand, Italy and the USA are tastefully combined with tremendous impact.

Colourful ceramic jewellery 'inspired by the drama of mother nature' is complemented by Mediterranean turquoise. Exquisite mother of pearl and dramatic wood and coconut designs demonstrate how you can create an up-to-date look - whilst showing your individual flair.

Themes such as 'Fairy Glen' and 'Sheer Summer' have proved extremely popular with the romantics and 'All Things Bright and Beautiful' appeals to the extroverts. Dawn's approach is inspired by both seasons and fashions (and I would add a great sense of taste). I was keen to have a peep at the next theme to be introduced at Chaebol, 'Fun and Funky', a tantalising combination of silver and enamel range which is wonderfully colourful and classy.

Staff at Chaebol are friendly, helpful and relaxed and it is a great place for a browse, whether you are just passing, planning a special purchase or after a wee treat. You can indulge in something really spectacular and Dawn points out that:

Sometimes when sourcing the jewellery we find only one or two of a piece we love, so sometimes a piece can be a 'one-off' and 'once it's gone, it's gone', but that just adds to the fun and excitement of constantly finding new pieces.

The prices at Chaebol are very affordable and every item has the price tag clearly on display - there is also the option of purchasing gift vouchers.
