Muriel Barclay returns for her fourth Solo Show with around 35 paintings.
Barclay is one of Scotland’s most popular contemporary figurative artists. Her dance, ballet and musical themes have generated a resonance and following with the public. Barclay creates stunning modern compositions that have an almost musical/lyrical quality. She exalts the beauty of musical movement with her detailed studies of the character that she presents, typically set against powerful abstract settings.
