The debut film from Irish writer/director Mark Noonan, You’re Ugly Too tells the story of Stacey (newcomer Lauren Kinsella), a young girl who is forced to live with her uncle (Game of Thrones’ Aidan Gillen) after the death of her mother. Unexpectedly thrown together, the two slowly and cautiously get to know one another, in this tender and bittersweet low-key character drama. You’re Ugly Too marks a modest but promising beginning for the careers of both Noonan and Kinsella.
