Real-life artist turned filmmaker Anna Oddell plays a fictionalised version of herself in this metatextual film based on real events. Bullied as a child, Oddell was not invited to her school’s 20th anniversary reunion, and decides to make a film about what she thinks would have happened if she had gone. Later, she shows the made-up film to her former classmates, looking for their reactions. However, things escalate as Oddell reflects on bullying, guilt and responsibility and the film drifts between reality and staging, with dangerous reconstructions letting Odell live out her revenge fantasies.
