The fifteenth West End Festival, one of the major events on the Scottish events calendar, looks all set to be a cracker. It's going to be more difficult than ever this year choosing what to go along to as the programme is amazing.

Sunday13th June, 2010
Entertainment in the park starts at 12.30 p.m. with live music on four stages from 1 - 7 p.m.Sub-City Radio will be playing summer sounds near Gibson Street entrance. There will be a fun fair and special events including Glasgow UNESCO City of Music's mass sing-in for all ages (2 p.m.). On Kelvin Way there will be 100 stalls with arts, crafts, records and community information.
Will include samba bands and musicians and community groups in colourful costumes. It will form inside Kelvingrove and move down Kelvin Way towards the Art Gallery and back into the park. (3 p.m. - 4 p.m.)
Kicks off on 13th June - returning for its second year. The festival includes some of Glasgow's most talented musicians performing at popular West End acoustic music venues. All gigs are free.

Also on Sunday 13th, you can keep the party going (from 12 midday until late) During the day there will be family fun with face painting and bouncy castles and from 4 p.m. BBQ's, cocktails and music. Free event.

Gibson Street Gala 2010 boasts its most exciting year yet. The Sunday Street festival coming into its 6th year has a brilliant line up ahead with the likes of High Heels & The Souls, Glasgow Capoeira and the fantastic Esperanza SKA band all playing on the main stage. The local Highland dance school will also be performing along with the Kings Park Brass band blaring out some Funky Jazz. And lots more - see full feature
Will exhibit on the railings at the Botanic Gardens, Queen Margaret Drive every Saturday and Sunday throughout the festival.

Come and join in the first West End Highland Games to round off this year's Festival. Enjoy the Highland Dancing, the sports, stalls, food and drink, licensed bar and the live music - plus Games Chieftan Michelle McManus and plenty of family entertainment. Event takes place on Hughenden Playing Fields off Great Western Road near Gartnavel Hospital. Enter from Hughenden Road. No access from Great Western Road. (NB Limited Parking in area) Games end 5.30pm after which, the Final Fling ceilidh an music concert in the marquee from 7.30pm till midnight.
