Cult Classics: Love on Screen
In this rock & roll adventure story Christian Slater (Interview With the Vampire) and Patricia Arquette (Ed Wood) star as two unlikely lovers propelled into a violent game of high stake negotiations and high-speed adventure when they take unexpected possession of valuable mob contraband. They plan to go from Detroit to L.A., sell the booty, and begin a new life, but the gangsters — and the police — have other dangerous ideas. Phenomenal all-star cast includes Val Kilmer as the ghost of Elvis, Slater’s confidante, Academy Award-nominee Brad Pitt, Gary Oldman, Golden Globe-nominee Tom Sizemore and Samuel L. Jackson, with Dennis Hopper and Academy Award-winner Christopher Walken sparring in an edge-of-your-seat showdown that has become a contemporary classic.
