The Hateful Eight
8 – 21 January, 2016
Quentin Tarantino’s latest feature is a Civil War-era western.
The inimitable Quentin Tarantino returns with his latest opus, a Civil War-era western about eight strangers who get involved in a plot of betrayal and deception whilst trying to find shelter during a blizzard. With a cast including several decades worth of A-listers (Kurt Russell, Bruce Dern, Samuel L. Jackson and Jennifer Jason Leigh to name a few) mostly confined to a single location, Tarantino once again demonstrates his mastery of dialogue with a script that continuously ratchets up tension before exploding in a violent fervour.
