On the brink of economic depression, the townspeople of Tickle Cove hope to attract a new factory to town that will bring with it much-needed jobs. However, the town also needs a doctor. Led by mayor Murray French (Brendan Gleeson), the oddball townspeople band together to entice hotshot doctor Paul Lewis (Taylor Kitsch) to stay beyond his one-month stint as the town physician.
