The Flying Duck, Open Call to Performers
Welcome to The Black Lodge
11 October, 2014
The Flying Duck
The wheel is turning
Change is coming
The Flying Duck is placing an open call to performers, artists, live music acts and DJs to participate, collaborate and contribute to a full day event based around the enigmatic and extraordinary television series, Twin Peaks.
Our goal is to create a surreal Lynchian atmosphere. Performances will be staggered throughout the venue and will use the spaces in novel ways over the course of the afternoon and evening to create a chaotic and immersive experience. Late night, the space will transform into a vibrant club with high energy music to get the great masses to move.
Artistic + Musical Performers/Artists/
Interested DJs/VJs for the club portion of the event (roughly 11pm/12am-3am) should also consider the themes of otherworldliness but in a way that compliments the high energy of a club. All styles and genres suitable for a club environment are invited to submit.
Payment for works will be a split of admission fares/ticket sales and will be paid in the days following the event .
Submissions should be made via email to owlcaveistheshizz@gmail.co
