A Christmas treat for the whole family, this timeless story is accompanied by Tchaikovsky’s beloved score. On Christmas Eve, Marie is gifted a special Christmas present, a Nutcracker doll, from her mysterious godfather Drosselmeyer. When at midnight, the doll comes to life, Marie is enveloped in a battle between toy soldiers and mice, and the Nutcracker must defeat the Mouse King to save her. Rising star Soloist Margarita Shrainer perfectly embodies Marie’s innocence, while the supremely elegant Principal Dancer Semyon Chudin is captivating as The Nutcracker.
