On Christmas Eve, rambunctious trans sex worker Sin-Dee Rella is released from a 28-day stint in prison to discover her pimp boyfriend has been sleeping with someone else. Outraged, she begins a rampage of revenge that takes her across the sun-scorched streets of downtown Los Angeles. Throwing convention out of the window, filmmaker Sean Baker used an Apple iPhone 5 to capture this tale, giving the film a truly raw and visceral look unlike any other.
