A young man called Champion has a passion for cycling and decides to take part in the Tour De France. However, he goes missing and it looks like he was kidnapped. His grandmother, Madame Souza, begins to search for him with their pet dog Bruno. This search leads them to the town of Belleville where they meet three elderly sisters who were once a famous jazz trio.
