Riverside Museum this Summer there’s a range of drop-in events for kids and families.
The Road from Delhi
In the run up to the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games, Glasgow Life has launched a new display at the Riverside Museum, celebrating Glasgow’s part in the Closing Ceremony of the Games in Delhi in 2010. The handover of the Commonwealth Games Flag marked the beginning of the city’s journey toward hosting the Games and the Opening Ceremony of July 23rd.also on and an exhibition by Alan Currall as part of GENERATION.
The Road from Dehli also explores the common links between Delhi and Glasgow and celebrates cultures and associations between both cities.
There’s a range of stuff for kids on at the Tall Ship too daily throughout the summer.
Keep On Truckin’
Saturday 5 July, Thursday 17 and Thursday 7 August
Book on the day for sessions at 1.00, 2.00, 3.00 (45 mins each). Inspired by The Road from Delhi display. Come and make your own decoration to put on your vehicle.

Riverside’s Old Street is the scene for these short performances from ‘Allofthethings’ who will bring the people who might have lived there and their stories to life.
