As part of their contribution to this year’s Scalarama programme, Strange Vice proudly presents Hell On Reels – a celebration of the Biker movie genre! A screening of a mystery biker film from the Strange Vice archive will be followed by a sound and vision spectacular with a live set from The Sensation Seekers.
The Sensation Seekers are the band in the best scene of that late 1960’s exploitation flick, the one where all the best looking girls in the coolest outfits danced with the ugliest guys in the ugliest shirts, and you wished you were there. They play Hammond-driven, fuzzy, way out film music, and they call it progsploitation!

Strange Vice is an independent online emporium specialising in cult film, soundtracks and related reading. We also organise screenings of films that we would like to see on the big screen as punters ourselves. We pride ourselves on putting on events that are as close to the grindhouse experience as possible with cheap ticket prices and non-stop entertainment.
Scalarama is a nationwide festival celebrating the spirit of the long lost Scala Cinema, a notorious London fleapit where anything went (sometimes on and off screen) and arthouse and exploitation went hand in hand.
