When Chicago musicians Joe and Jerry (Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon) accidentally witness a gangland shooting, they decide to flee aboard a southbound train to Florida disguised as Josephine and Daphne – the two newest members of an all-girl jazz band alongside the beautiful Sugar Kane (Marilyn Monroe).
