When detective Jay Swan (Aaron Pedersen) returns to the remote Queensland town that is still home to his estranged wife and daughter, his first case is the murder of a teenage Aboriginal girl. However, the locals are unwilling to cooperate and his fellow police officers seem reluctant to investigate too deeply. What exactly is going on and why does everyone resent his intrusion into matters best left alone? An atmospheric, expertly controlled film of quietly escalating intensity with the feel of a modern day western. GFF14
