Muldoon’s Picnic in Concert with Mick West plus workshop
Saturday 5th July, 2014
Hillhead Baptist Church
CONCERT – 6.30pm
Glasgow’s acclaimed folk-world harmony group present unaccompanied songs from traditions around the globe, including some gems from the Scots Chorus project with special guest Mick West and participants from the afternoon workshop. “Interesting harmonies sung with honest skill… compelling listening!”
WORKSHOP – 3-5pm
Following last year’s mass performance in Celtic Connections and CD release, veteran folk-singer Mick West joins folk-world harmony group Muldoon’s Picnic to teach some gems from Scotland’s rich tradition of
chorus songs, aimed at anyone and everyone who loves singing a good tune. There will be an opportunity to participate in our concert later the same day.
