The Den on Argyle Street will be open on Easter Monday 5 April, 2018 from 12pm.

Special one course lunch menu available until 4pm which is £6.50 inc chilli garlic chicken and chicken tikka chasni as options !

Ginger Crab and Prawn Dosa

Prawns and crab meat cooked with ginger pickle stuffed in a lentil rice pancake

Spiced Haddock and Roasted Tomatoes

Haddock oven baked with a variety of punjabi spices and roasted tomatoes

Haloumi with Paprika Chickpeas

Grilled haloumi served with garlic chick peas served with bread

Ginger and Green Chilli Fish Pakora

Haddock marinated in a ginger and green chilli puree and deep fried with vegetables

Vegetable pakora

A mixture of vegetables deep fried with gram flour until golden crisp

Chicken Tikka and Potato Pakora

Chicken tikka cooked with sliced potatoes in a spiced batter

Main Course

King Prawn and Monkfish with Ginger and Dill

King prawns and monkfish pan-fried with root ginger, garam masala and dill

Haddock with Puy Lentils and Lemon

Seasoned haddock served on spiced puy lentils, cooked with homemade lemon pickle

King Prawn Achari with Mushroom

Simmered with a lemon and lime pickle

Seabass with Chick Peas, Small Diced Potato and Tomato

Seabass pan fried served with garlic chick peas

Chicken Spinach Leaf

Chicken breast cooked in a garlic sauce with fresh spinach leaf

Smeena’s Slow Chicken Curry

Green chilli, tomatoes and onions cooked for hours with a touch of olive oil and simmered with whole spices


Butter Chicken
Chicken cooked in a buttery creamy sauce with cloves and green cardamon then topped with almonds

Chicken Tikka

Chicken marinated then barbequed and served with rice and salad (for a healthier option you can ask for chicken tikka with chick pea papri salad)

Chicken with Chana Daal and Roasted Leeks

A dry dish finished with split lentil and spiced leeks

Cinnamon and Black Pepper Chicken

Chicken on the bone cooked with whole spices and served with seasonal vegetables

Chilli Garlic Chicken

Diced chicken pan-fried with fresh green chillies and crushed black peppercorns

Smoked Lamb with Broccoli and Green Chili

Lamb marinated with spices then smoked with cloves

Lamb Mussalum and Ladyfingers

Lamb cooked with punjabi spices and fresh okra

Lamb Rogan Josh

Made with a mixture of roasted peppers and onions and whole tomato and paprika

Raan for 2 people

Leg of lamb slowly cooked with whole spices then finished off with a sweet almond sauce served with basmati rice, raita and breads (subject to availability)


Vegetable karahi

Seasonal vegetables cooked with garlic, ginger and whole spices

Vegetable Thali

A choice of 2 vegetarian dishes, served with basmati rice, roti, raita and chutney (for 1 person)

Aloo Saag Dosa

Potato and spinach stuffed in a rice and lentil pancake
