Alicia (Juno Temple) finds herself a stranger in a strange land when her cousin Sophie (Emily Browning) leaves her to travel to a remote Chilean island with three unknown companions. Amongst them is Brink, played with grotesquely creepy aplomb by Michael Cera, who seems to be both picking on the terrified Alicia and attempting to woo her. A uniquely unsettling psychological thriller that plays with audience perceptions as the characters’ inner demons become the terrors that prey on them.
