Glasgow Youth Dance Company, the newest addition to the Dance House family, has been selected to perform at this year’s Commonwealth Youth Dance Festival – and we need your help!

GLASGOW YOUTH DANCE COMPANY

Founded in partnership with YDance in 2013, Glasgow Youth Dance Company is a contemporary dance company of the highest quality for 14 – 18 year olds. Now solely run by Dance House, the company rehearse weekly, giving participants the opportunity to work with professional dance teachers and choreographers to develop their technical, choreographic and performance skills.
Led by Rob Heaslip, the company is currently working towards performances at Go Dance 2014 (The Gadfly Project) and the Merchant City Festival. The newest addition to the Dance House family, the GYDC is also one of only nine Scottish dance groups to have been selected to perform at this year’s Commonwealth Youth Dance Festival!
