Love, Simon GFT
27 April – 3 May, 2018
Teenage years can be tricky enough without having a secret that you’re not sure whether to share. 17-year-old Simon (Nick Robinson) is gay but hasn’t told any of his friends or family. He is starting to fall in love with an equally closeted, anonymous classmate that he has met online. Will true love conquer all obstacles? Will Simon find the right moment to set the story straight? What happens if someone else finds out first? The screen version of Becky Albertalli’s novel Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda is a fresh, funny, inspirational take on growing up and coming out.
