Linda Jaxson is a songstress and renowned as blues singer who also likes to work in and out of rock and country (with a little shadow of Jazz – sometimes.)
She has 5 albums of music, including many original songs out there, has been performing in Scotland, Australia, Europe and Canada. Based in Glasgow, she now works with a variety of musicians, playing ‘choice’ music café/bars and festivals.
If you have heard Linda Jaxson sing, you will recognise someone who sings close to the edge, while inviting you to share that experience.
Her influences are many and cross many genres: Joni Mitchell, Rickie Lee Jones, Emmylou Harris to Leadbelly, Lightning Hopkins, Eric Bibb – and Led Zeppelin.
