L’amant Double, GFT
2 – 7 June, 2018
Loosely based on the Joyce Carol Oates novel Lives of the Twins, François Ozon’s gleefully irreverent erotic thriller has distinct shades of Brian de Palma and Alfred Hitchcock. Chloé (Marion Vacth) falls in love with her psychoanalyst Paul (Jérémie Renier), but discovers there’s more to him than meets the eye. When the couple move into their new apartment, Chloe discovers a box containing clues to Paul’s past, including a passport bearing a different surname. Paul’s web of secrets is about to unravel.
