Stalking for deer in the remote Scottish wilderness, three brothers plot to put an end to their violent and abusive father, the man responsible for the recent death of their mother. They bury him in a shallow grave, but what should be a new beginning could bring about their end.

They soon realise that the key to the family safe – containing their inheritance – is still around their father’s neck. But when they return to dig up the grave, his body isn’t there. In its place is the corpse of a freshly killed deer.
