Kale Fest, Woodlands Garden and CCA,20 November, 2016

Woodlands Community Garden invite you to Kale Fest – a magical Kale-idoscopic afternoon of delights.
It’s green, it’s beautifully nutritious, it’s easy to grow and it’s one of Scotland’s oldest vegetables – but how much do we really know about Kale? Join us for a delicious afternoon indulging in everything kale – celebrate the flavours, history and uses of this easy to grow veg.
Programme
2pm: Meet at Woodlands Community Garden, 91-101 West Princes St, Glasgow G4 9BY for Kale Harvesting Demonstration and a storytelling walk from the garden to the CCA, 350 Sauchiehall St, Glasgow G2 3JD
3.30pm: Programme starts at CCA with a mix of Kale inspired films, performance, talks and stories
5pm: Guess Speaker and expert in Kale, Christopher Trotter
5.30pm: Sample some Kale delights
Special Guest – Bryan Burnett from BBC radio
