Jean de Florette, GFT, 10 – 16 November, 2017
In this acclaimed French drama inspired by Marcel Pagnol’s two-volume novel, Ugolin (Daniel Auteuil) and his uncle César Soubeyran (Yves Montand) conspire to gain access to a hidden spring on a neighbouring property; when their initial attempt to buy the land fails, they block the only water source in an attempt to drive the landowner, Jean de Florette (Gérard Depardieu), away.
