Janis: Little Girl Blue GFT until 17 February, 2016

The story of one of the most iconic rock & roll singers of all time.
Friday 12 – Wednesday 17 February
Running time: 1h46m
GFT
Janis Lyn Joplin was known as ‘The Queen of Psychedelic Soul’ and, despite her diminutive appearance, she had a voice big enough to speak for a generation. One of the main attractions at Woodstock, Joplin was poised for even greater things before her life was tragically cut short by a drug and alcohol overdose at age 27. During her life she broke down numerous barriers, and Amy Berg’s new documentary tells her story through exclusive archive footage, contemporary interviews and the singer’s own accounts, showing us just why Joplin became an inspiration to so many.
