Based on true events, the final feature from acclaimed Italian filmmaker and historian Carlo Lizzani is a moving drama about the fate of Greek-Italian holidaymakers imprisoned by the Nazi occupiers at a luxury hotel toward the end of the Second World War.
The screening will be introduced by Dr. Pasquale Iannone (University of Edinburgh).
