Indepen-dance was founded in 1996, as an inclusive dance company which provides creative movement/dance classes, training and performance opportunities for people with learning disabilities, their carers and volunteers.
Indepen-dance offers weekly creative movement classes for adults with a learning disability and their carers/support workers. The innovative approach of the company has developed from its own creative process and provides an environment which is safe and appropriate for the needs of the participants.
The weekly classes are facilitated by experienced dance workshop leaders and are accompanied by a musician. The classes are designed to be fun and creative, and offer an environment where people can share in a creative experience through music and dance.
