Hogmanay in the Restaurant

Bring in the bells in the Ubiquitious Chip Restaurant this Hogmanay.

This annual event will begin at 7pm with a five course meal, live entertainment with music from Jazz Band and a piper.

A balloon drop at the bells will add to the festive atmosphere.

Game bird and ham hough broth,
partridge boudin, chervil root


Cured halibut,
cucumber, dill, rye bread crisps, avruga caviar


Aberdeen Angus fillet steak,
beer braised beef cheek, baby onion, pancetta,
roast artichoke and broccoli


Brown butter and chocolate pavé,
satsuma pearls, almond streusel, port ice cream


A selection of artisan cheeses from George Mewes,
caramelised onion chutney and Arran oatcakes


Selection of fine tea or freshly ground coffee,

Hogmanay in The Brasserie

The Brasserie is hosting it’s own Hogmanay celebrations upstairs in the inside room.

The cost is £55, which  includes a delicious 3 course dinner with a glass of fizz on arrival and your ticket to the Ashton Lane Street Party.

Hogmanay in the Brasserie

Celebrate Hogmanay in the Brasserie with three course meal
and a ticket to the Ashton Lane street party

puy lentils, Lanark blue sauce, toasted walnut crumb

Slow cooked ox cheek,
braised red cabbage purée, crispy kale

Pan seared mackerel,
pickled beetroot and horseradish salsa, pine pesto


Salt baked kohlrabi and parsnip,
smoked honey milk curd, parsnip crisp

Roast partridge crown,
confit leg arancini, celeriac and truffle purée,
sautéed pancetta and spinach

Pan seared sea bass,
salsify, spelt, seaweed butter, crispy dulse


Soft chocolate ganache,
mandarin sorbet, toasted marshmallow, shortbread crumb

Chestnut and honey trifle,
spiced pears, mascarpone, red wine gel
