Using a spectrum of archive material from throughout the artist’s career, director Randall Wright gives a rich portrait of the Bradford born artist. One of the most important artists of his generation, David Hockney allowed the filmmaker unprecedented access to his personal archive of photographs and films, which he continues to make today, aged 77.
