For their first ever performance in Scotland, the world famous Gyuto Monks of Tibet will come straight from performing at Glastonbury Festival 2016 and will offer a unique three days of harmonic chanting, meditation, sand mandalas and public talks.
Following Grammy nominations, sold-out concerts in the Royal Albert Hall and Sydney Opera House, and concerts held at the request of the likes of Harrison Ford and Richard Gere, the Gyuto Monks will be performing a one-off concert in CCA on Friday 8 July.

Thursday 7 July
10-10.30am: Blessing the Space and Pouring of the first Sands of the Mandala: sit with the monks while they chant then join them around the mandala
11am-12noon: Culture for Kids – MYO Pet Yak: an opportunity for children of all ages to interact with the monks in art activitie
12noon-1pm: Meditation Session ‘Beyond Pain and Hurt’
2-3pm: Tantric Art Class: Mani Stone Painting
3-4pm: Public Talk – Pressures of Life
4-4.30pm: Afternoon Meditation
Friday 8 July
10-10.30am: Morning Meditation
11am-12noon: Culture for Kids – Auspicious Symbols
12noon-1pm: Meditation Session – Beyond Need
2-3pm: Tantric Art Class – Mandala Art
3-4pm: Public Talk – Practice of Contentment
